Who says you have to have a significant other to celebrate Valentine’s Day? “Galentine’s Day” has become the new go to celebration for female friends! Whether you want to do a movie night or a fun brunch somewhere, Valentine’s Day is the perfect holiday to celebrate with your best friends! Since Valentine’s Day falls in the middle of the week, a Saturday brunch is the perfect way to celebrate! We have compiled a list of the perfect brunch food and cocktails to serve and the perfect goody bags to give all your best friends!

Cocktails

CHERUB’S CUP

What You’ll Need

  • 2 ounces vodka
  • 3/4 ounce lemon juice
  • 1/4 ounce simple syrup
  • 1 strawberry
  • 3 ounces champagne
  • Garnish: strawberry

How to Make It

  1. Muddle the strawberry, simple syrup, and lemon juice in a cocktail shaker.
  2. Add ice, vodka, and shake well.
  3. Strain over fresh ice in a glass.
  4. Top with Champagne.
  5. Garnish with a strawberry

RASPBERRY LEMONADE CHAMPAGNE PUNCh

What You’ll Need

  • 1 can (about 12 ounces) raspberry lemonade concentrate
  • 1 bottle (750 ml) champagne, chilled
  • 3 cups ginger ale (or club soda)
  • 1/2 cup vodka
  • 1 pint fresh raspberries
  • lime or lemon wedges (for garnish)

How to Make It

  1. In a large pitcher, stir together the lemonade concentrate, champagne, ginger ale, and the vodka. Pour the raspberries on top. Pour into glasses garnished with a lime or lemon wedge.

Brunch Menu:

Chocolate Yogurt Martinis

Martini Glass Rimmed with Chocolate Sprinkles, Filled with Dark Chocolate Yogurt, White Chocolate Biscotti & Fresh Raspberry Garnish

In Shallow Plate/bowl put water with a Lime Juice and A shallow plate/bowl with Chocolate Sprinkles, Dip Martini Glass into water lime mixture then place into Sprinkles

Filled Rimmed Glasses with Purchased Chocolate Yogurt

Place Biscotti Cookie into Glass & garnish with Fresh Raspberries

 

Chocolate Covered Strawberries

Double Boiler place Chocolate Chips

Melt chocolate stirring gently with Spatula

Place Fresh Strawberries on Skewer

When Chocolate Completely Melted place Strawberry into Chocolate and Twist until Completely Coated

Set Aside and Let Dry

 

Chocolate Waffles Dipped in Whipped Cream Sprinkled with Gold Sugar

Chocolate Waffles – Store Bought Chocolate Cake Mix (Duncan Hines Devil’s Food Cake Mix)

Make Cake Batter per instructions on Box

Pour into Waffle Maker, cook until done

Remove & Cut into Desired Shape

Dip into Whipped Cream (Store Bought) Sprinkle with Gold Sprinkles or Cookie Sugar

 

Fresh Berry French Toast Flatbread

Premade Flatbread with Cinnamon & Sugar Glazed then topped with Lemon Mascarpone & Ricotta, Fresh Berries, Basil & Mint and Sprinkled with Granola

Small Bowl combine Marscapone & Ricotta Cheese add pinch of Sugar, Cinnamon, Lemon Juice and Fresh Lemon Zest

Take the Store Bought Flatbread or Naan place on Grill, few minutes each side just wanting Grill Marks on Bread, Set aside to cool

Spread the Cheese mixture on the flatbread

Top with Fresh Berries & Herbs

Top with your Favorite Granola Blend

And Lightly Drizzle with Good Quality Honey

 

Bourbon Candied Bacon

Cook Bacon (Use thick Cut Bacon) on Sheet Pan in Oven at 350 degrees until ¾ done, set aside on cloth to reduce grease

In Sauce pan Melt Butter, Brown Sugar and Bourbon

Liberally Brush Butter onto Cooked Bacon with Pastry Brush

Place par cooked bacon on Sheet pan & Finish Cooking

Remove From Oven and Brush another Layer of Bourbon Butter

Let Cool & Serve

 

Garden Shooters

Mini Vessel with Fresh Vegan Marinara, Fresh Vegetables cut in to Sticks

See Attached Recipe for Marinara

Cut Fresh Veggies into Sticks – Squash, Zuccinni, Carrots, Peppers etc

Place Marinara into Desired Vessel

Add Veggies & Serve

 

Tomato and Red Pepper Coulis

Recipe Yields:

1 Serving

Qty Measure Preparation Ingredient

4 Cup-Dry Quartered Tomato Roma 25LB

1 Cup-Dry Quartered pepper bell red

1 ½ Tsp-Dry Basil-Dried

2 Tblsp-Dry Oregano

2 Tblsp-Dry Chopped Tomato Sun Dried Julienne

1/8 Tsp- Dry Spice Cayenne Ground

¼ Tsp-Dry Red Pepper- Crushed

1 Tsp=Fld Juiced Limes 48/54 Count

Put all ingredients in a food processor, run until all the big chunky pieces are gone, do not over chop. Remember what you are making and how it should look
